This collection was build on the previous (irregular patterns) but taken a step further. In this collection I first worked with silkscreen printing at the Jan van Eyck Academy in Maastricht. All prints are first handdrawn and are then turned into a frame which makes it possible for the print to repeat. By pressing with different colors there is an iridescent effect in a lot of the prints. The silhouet of the clothes is determined by the idea of movement. The holes of the arms are big, the sleeves are loose. There are jumpsuits and the dresses have hidden pants inside. The three prints used in the collection are also printed onto paper. (You can purchase these limited edition prints in the shop) During the photoshoot the prints were used as a carpet for the models. By placing the girls on the prints it was almost as if both were printed. PICTURES: Florine van Rees.
